With co-founder Royer Bockus, Andrea has launched RING OF KEYS: a collective of queer women+, trans, and GNC artists working on and offstage in musical theatre! The mission of RING OF KEYS is to build a supportive, national network for its members, as well as serve as a hiring resource, through its public Member Directory, for those looking to work with professional artists who self-identify as lesbian, bisexual, queer, femme, trans, and non-binary.

Andrea was selected as one of 10 artists for Ping Chong & Company’s Fall 2017 DEVISINGHub, an incubator for new, innovative performance works. Throughout the four weeks, Andrea explored her theatrical piece PROJECT35: an exploration of childfree womanhood at 35 - whether by choice, indecision, fertility trials, singledom, or another of a myriad of experiences.  PROJECT 35 is an interview-based text and is currently in progress.

The Social Justice Warriors Play Reading Salon

Andrea, along with collaborator Matt Renskers, have created a monthly Play Reading Series entitled The Social Justice Warriors Salon. The SJW Salon partnered with the Climate Change Theatre Action Festival for the month of November to read aloud a collection of short plays, designated by the Festival, which address climate change. The CCTA Festival is a worldwide festival created in support of the 2017 United Nations COP23 meeting chaired by Fiji and hosted in Bonn, Germany.
