
Andrea Prestinario is a Chicago-based actress, singer, and dancer who has been performing in the Midwest since the age of 6.
A graduate of Ball State University in Musical Theatre, Andrea began her professional career at 11 years old when she was cast in the long-running "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" with Donny Osmond at the Chicago Theatre. Who knew Donny's coat of many colors could have such a lasting effect?
Andrea has had the pleasure of working with such companies as Writers’ Theatre, Marriott Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Timeline Theatre Company, and Theatre at the Center. In 2007, Andrea won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Principal Role for her work as “Violet” in Side Show with Bohemian Theatre Ensemble.
Screen credits include numerous commercials and publicity appearances on ABC and WGN. She has been a wedding vocalist and National Anthem Soloist for 15 years.
A Chicago Cabaret Professionals Member, Andrea debuted her cabaret show "Normal? A Journey Through Songs" at Davenport's in the fall of 2007. She returned to Davenport’s to premiere "Back Together Again" with actress Vanessa Panerosa in the spring of 2010.
Aside from performing, Andrea finds peace in gardening, laughter in political satire, and joy in kittens. She dabbles in poetry and painting, is a staunch supporter of Planned Parenthood and a terrible cook.
